Whodunit?

"The Butler Did It" was this year's fall play, and by far the best of many years. The play was originally written by Tim Kelly. The cast included the following people: Amber Williams,Victoria McKitrick, Emily Duininck, Michael Cap, Andrew Duininck, Zach Wyant, Jim Morgan, Christine Randolph, Drue Hutchinson, and Christa Barber. Lighting and sound was done by Nathan Scott, and Sandy Carter directed the play. The cast performed the play three times; one of those performances was enjoyed by the fourth through eighth graders.

The play is a "whodunit." The setting is off the coast of San Francisco on Turkey Island. A woman named Miss Maple is a mystery writer who is known for her weekend parties. She invites some of the most well-known mystery writers to a party at Ravenswood Manor. When she invites the guests she tells them to come dressed as the main character from their books. What happens afterwards forms the perfect mystery plot with twists, turns, and a surprise ending.

In our opinion the cast has done incredibly well with this play. They obviously worked hard and have earned a good review. We look forward to watching future plays.
