Student of the Month

    Ashlee Tauss has been named as GCS' student of the month for October. Ashlee, in her ninth year of school here at Grace, enjoys participating in cheerleading and volleyball. She also feels that her participation in last year's ORUEF was a "really good experience," particularly her opportunity to perform a cheer routine and the chance to see "everyone's talent show through."
    Ashlee's honors and awards include the Faithful Servant award (six years), the seventh-grade Most Improved Cheerleader award, membership in the Junior Honor Society, her leadership as captain of the junior high cheer squad, and the presidency of Student Council. Her goal for this year is to excel in grades-she desires to earn good grades in every class.
    Ashlee has one brother, Ryan, a sixteen-year-old who also attends Grace. She also enjoys swimming, owns a dog, Ginger, and has the future goal of attending ORU or OU to major in science in order to be a secondary teacher.
