Something a little different . . .

On
Friday, October 1, the Grace Soccer team played Wright Christian
School. Although neither team scored, it was a great effort
by both teams, resulting in a tie. Grace and Wright have been
rivals for sometime now. We will meet again! In the state
tournament we will battle those righteous Wright fellas again.
The varsity soccer team performed well at
the Tuesday, October 5 game against Mingo Valley. Creighton
Piper and Neil Strom played well, giving Grace opportunities
to score. Jacob Briscoe had two goals. Michael Cap had one
goal and Andrew Maris also made one. The final score was 4-2,
with Grace chalking up the victory.
Grace will be playing in the OCSAA State
Tournament this weekend. If they win two of their three scheduled
games, they will play in the championship game at TU’s
field on Saturday evening at 7:00. Make sure you come out
and support the team!
