Student of the Month

    The Student of the Month for September was Senior Neil Strom. Neil is the first- ever Student of the Month at Grace Christian School. Neil plays on the varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball teams, and is also an active member in the Broken Arrow First Nazarene youth group. He is an usher and children’s church worker at First Nazarene, and is also in the National Honor Society.

     Neil has received many awards in high school including Honor Roll, the Bulldog award, the 1-2-3 award, a music award, the Nehemiah award, the Faithful Servant award, and All-State baseball and All-State soccer honors.

     Neil’s favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.” His favorite part of Grace is getting to know most of the students and faculty, and being able to participate in many activities. Neil said, “Everyone has always befriended me at Grace, and I appreciate the relationships and acceptance that I have within our school.”
