Grace Cross Country Team

On September fourth, the Grace cross-country team traveled to Sapulpa, Oklahoma to compete. This was the team's first race of the season. Daniel Cap placed second in his junior high boys' race and Jayme Goolsbay placed fifth in her junior high girls' race. The course we ran on was very challenging. The race had many hills and obstacles to jump over (such as hay bales). The team ran over bridges, cement and rough terrain. Overall, the team ran with perseverance and strength. Our goals were to reach or break our split times and mile times, and we all accomplished this goal. In the end, the Grace cross country team gave it their all, and raced their hearts out.
