On August 27, the students from Grace Christian's Chapel Band took a field trip to ORU's Christ Chapel. Every year, ORU hosts a special chapel service acknowledging the missions teams from the past summer. At this special chapel this year, the Grace Chapel Band was given the opportunity to join ORU students and not only to worship God, but to learn valuable tips for their own worship at Grace Christian School.

During the worship service, the Grace Chapel Band members demonstrated their devotion to God by raising their hands in surrender. When they were not giving to God, they were receiving insight from the powerful testimonies of the mission teams. The Puerto Rican team exhibited their incredible bilingual skills in not only their speech but in their worship. The worship team who went to London included Laura Cooke, a Grace graduate of 2002. The London team shared amazing stories from their trip, including visits to orphanages, schools, and a prison. Souls A'Fire, ORU's gospel worship team, visited the Bahamas and witnessed to the people there. They brought back with them bits and pieces of the Bahamian culture, and shared it with their peers through their music.

The members of the Grace Chapel Band had a great time at ORU, learning new techniques and enjoying the Christian fellowship. The ORU All-Worship Chapel not only inspired the worship of our Grace Christian students, but also the hearts of many others.
