On Friday, April 1, adults and children
alike gathered for Grace Christian School's annual Trivia
Night, an evening that tested intellectual skills and brought
families and friends together, creating lasting memories and
valuable friendships. It was a night of fellowship, teamwork,
good food and door prizes. Trivia Night consisted of ten rounds
of random trivia questions for everyone and, for those who
were up to the challenge, three rounds of Super Trivia questions.
Pizza and drinks were served, and many delicious bake sale
items were available as well.
The winning table, Table 12, consisted of
a group of friends led by Scott and Kathy Randolph, the parents
of junior Christine Randolph. After ten rounds of questions,
they won with a total score of over seventy points. The team
consisted of Scott and Kathy Randolph, Jennifer Randolph,
Melanie Randolph, Ty Wolfe, Jeff and Kathy Dunn, Mike and
Lisa Davis, and Barbara Mays.
Proceeds from the Trivia Night went toward
the GCS Junior/Senior Prom, entitled "Twilight in Athens,"
to be held on May 6. The Juniors made many contributions of
bake sale items and door prizes, and also worked hard at setting
up and working the bake sale and pizza stands. Many thanks
go to everyone who came to Trivia Night, as well as to those
who contributed door prizes and bake sale items. The Juniors
are very grateful to all who helped support their prom and
make their fundraiser a dynamic success
