Science Fair Schedule of Assignments and Due Dates for 2008-09
All assignments not completed by the due date will be “ZAPPED” until they are accepted by the teacher. The entire Science Fair grade will be the equivalent of 3 test grades distributed over three quarters of the year. Students are encouraged to take pictures of all steps of the process (the judges like to see pictures on the board as well) as well as keep detailed notes in their journal.
Our GCS Science Fair will be held January 22 and 23, the Regional Fair held at TCC is TBA, and the State Fair in Ada, OK is March 26-28. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair will be held in ___ on ___.
We are always grateful to have judges willing to judge a category or two at our local fair. We will provide our judges with a meal and other refreshments. If you have ANY technical or scientific background or even an interest in Science and would be willing to judge a few projects, please call Mrs. Cynthia Boyle at 317-5113.
