Grace Christian School Supply List 2009-2010 Grades 6-8
Teachers will inform you of any additional supplies that will be needed during the year

Writing utensils:
4 black/blue ink pens
4 red ink pens
Pencils
1 package pencil top erasers
1 large eraser
Colored pencils
1 package (variety of colors) Highlighters
Dry erase markers

Paper & folder/binder supplies:
3 packages notebook paper
1 package of white copy paper
3 packages of lined 3x5 index cards
1 package of lined 4/6 index cards
Bound composition notebook for science lab
6 one subject spiral notebooks
2 plain folders with brads and pockets
1” binder for each math and science (please do not use the same binder)
2” three ring binder to store all returned work and tests for future study
10 notebook dividers
Graph paper

Classroom supplies:
3 large boxes of Kleenex for classroom use
2 bottles of hand sanitizer

Miscellaneous supplies:
Protective book covers (non-nylon) (Brown mailing paper work well)
White correction fluid/tape
12” Ruler
White boards (prefer a white board without a frame, can buy at Mardel)
NIV, NAS, KJV, or NKJV Bible
Thesaurus
Dictionary
Spanish-English Dictionary (Larousse, at least 80,000 entries)
501 Spanish Verbs (Barron’s or similar brand that lists complete conjugations of verbs.)

Flash Drive/ USB Drive

Calculators:
6-8th grade: Texas Instrument Scientific Calculator (ex. TI-30) for all other math classes
** A TI-83 graphing calculator may be required for second semester algebra 1 only.  Wait for direction from the teacher before purchasing this calculator.
